I tried Twitter, but I didn't use it much. I read other people's stuff, but being the high-tech hermit that I am, I don't much need to keep in constant contact with anybody, so the system doesn't have much utility for me.Without a cell phone, I don't really feel the need to constantly send out text messages to folks. I just don't have that much to say that fits in 140 letters.
Obviously, this century is designed for folks born after I was.

I still don't understand Twitter... so I never really read your, or any other updates!
Ditto what Fran said. If I wanna know what you're doing, I'll call you or text you. That's as hi-tech as I care to get.
I like Twitter, but I've also resisted Facebook/MySpace. Twitter is fun when you're away from a computer and have an idea or a funny thought.
I just got on Facebook after years of asking why.
It's actually kind of fun, though I don't spend the time there that others do.
But there are a few nutcases who post truly hilarious photos that we all comment on, and it's a fun kind of graffiti.
I have been forced to get a cell phone as my land line went down and it's taking ages to get fixed. But I have no interest in using it to twitter; my random thoughts just are not that interesting and I suspect that nobody else's are either. Now your blog is a different matter altogether.
