Random 10, 4/10

If I Didn't Care The Ink Spots
Shock the Monkey Peter Gabriel
Sleep, Forever Madder Rose
Brick Ben Folds Five
Love Shack The B-52's
Rock The Casbah The Clash
Minuet in G, BVW 116 (J. S. Bach) Walter Heinz Bernstein
St. Stephen's Day Murders The Chieftains with Elvis Costello
Mississippi Bob Dylan
You Just Haven't Earned It Baby Kirsty MacColl

All over the place and seven of ten on The You Tubes. The missing tunes include Madder Rose, who are never there, a Bach minuet which is NOT the one from the Anna Magdalena notebook, and the Chieftains and Elvis playing a lively little tune about a miserable family get together.

Shock the Monkey is still an amazing looking video. Anyone not quite clear on the differences between new wave and punk should check out the B-52s and The Clash, respectively. The last two songs switch from the hardest to listen to voice on the list, Bob Dylan, to the nicest voice represented today, Kirsty MacColl, covering a Smiths tune. To be fair, I would put the Ink Spots' lead vocalist in a tie with Kirsty for nicest voice on the list.

Have a good Good Friday, y'all!

A mighty fine list, sir.
