Because ritual is important.

Whenever I have a meal that goes well with tortillas and wine, I always take the time to say a few words beforehand, because ritual is important.

Some might say, "You know, Matty Boy, you are going straight to H-E double hockey sticks for that little joke!"

My only answer is, that might well be true. I mean, heaven sounds like a nice place, but how much fun would I have there with so few of my family and friends around?

Tee hee! Your irreverence is decidedly essential to my Sunday morning ritual!

I always say, I will meet you poolside down there. We will need some cold drinks given the heat!

It would appear that all the best people will be around, so let's enjoy it and leave the sanctimonious to their own dour location.

I think Jesus was (is?) a man who'd enjoy some good burrito tortillas and Abrazzo wine. You're not sacriligious--you're just channeling him.

I'm sorry, but what is blasphemous here is the use of flour tortillas instead of white corn tortillas, which is what Jesus and Padre Mickey use.
