Random 10, 1/2/10

Let The Good Times Roll Shirley & Lee
Whole Lotta Love Led Zeppelin
Don't Know Why Norah Jones
Clowntime Is Over #2 Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Paper Doll The Mills Brothers
4% Pantomime The Band with Van Morrison
Overture/Going Through The Motions Sarah Michelle Gellar and the Demon Chorus
Trouble Man Marvin Gaye
What'd I Say Ray Charles
Red Sails In The Sunset David Bowie

10 for 10 on the You Tubes, which is a little surprising given how random this Random 10 is. The oldest songs, the Mills Brothers and Shirley & Lee, were originally released on 78 rpm format. The newest song is from this century, the opening song from the Buffy The Vampire Slayer musical episode. It's hard to find Van Morrison on The You Tubes. His record company scrubbed the site clean of most of his solo work. The Elvis song is a slower live version of a tune from Get Happy!, still one my favorite albums. The only video that is a slight cheat is the Norah Jones. There were videos of her doing this song straight, but I linked to a version of her singing a re-write to Elmo on Sesame Street. As if I didn't think Norah Jones was already way too adorable.

As the Padre would ask, what are you listening to?
